Anna McDonnell

Anna started her career as a rhythmic gymnast and formed part of the the British Squad until 2001. She discovered circus in 2010, whilst living in Argentina. She went on to form part of the contemporary circus collective ‘Proyecto Amor Eterno’ in Buenos Aires. In 2013, Anna moved to Brazil, where she formed part of the core cast of the circus company -Grupo Ares’, where she performed in a number of international events, including hanging from cranes and performing her hoop routine from some of Sao Paulo’s highest skyscrapers. Anna returned to her home in the UK in 2015, where she now teaches pole dance and contortion on a regular basis and works as a freelance aerialist. She has won numerous titles including: UK Aerial Hoop Champion 2017, UK Professional Pole Championships (Instructor Category) Winner 2017 and Pole Art Spain 2nd Place 2017.
